Shockwave therapy

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive and easy-to-apply treatment with wide applicability in  orthopedics,  physiotherapy,  sports medicine  urology.

The main effects are  rapid pain relief  and  restoration of joint mobility, effects obtained by improving metabolic processes in tissues.

To these effects is added the advantage of a non-surgical approach, so that does not involve the use of analgesics. Taken together, all of these things make shockwave therapy an ideal therapy for both accelerating healing and treating symptoms of acute or chronic pain.

Shock wave therapy is indicated for the following conditions:

  • muscle contractions

  • calcifications in the shoulder region

  • pinten calcanean

  • plantar fascia

  • Dupuytren's disease (contracture of the palmar aponeurosis)

  • Short duration of treatment

  • Decreased pain and increased mobility

  • Improving blood circulation to muscles and tendons

  • Dissolution of calcium broblasts

  • Improving metabolism and microcirculation
